Brave The Elements

Creative direction · Campaign assets · Landing page

Autumn changes the conditions on the course, and what golfers need from their kit. For Clubhouse Golf’s 2024 campaign, I wanted to make those conditions the reason to explore the range. Brave the Elements brought the season together under one clear invitation: get out and play.

Idea & Approach

The changing weather became the organising idea. “Whatever the Weather” gave the campaign its voice, while a set of symbols for cold, rain, wind and grip gave each condition a recognisable place in the visual system.

I built the creative around golfers on the course. Wide colour images show the landscape and the conditions around them; tighter monochrome portraits bring the focus back to the player. The oversized, stacked headline gives the campaign impact, while the weather icons, seasonal date line and small graphic details hold the different formats together.

The idea carries through to the landing page as Shop by Element. Golfers can move from the campaign into Conquer the Cold, Beat the Rain, Withstand the Wind and Control the Grip, with each route leading towards relevant gear. Desktop and mobile layouts, social carousels and product-led assets use the same imagery, type and symbols, connecting the first campaign impression to the shopping experience.

Result & Impact

Brave the Elements gave Clubhouse Golf a cohesive way to present its autumn range across campaign assets, social and the landing page. The weather-led structure made the creative useful as well as recognisable: the conditions introduced the story, then helped customers find products for the way they play.

The result was a seasonal campaign that connected the attitude of playing through autumn with a clear route to shop.
